Hello to all, but a very special hello to my David Archuleta fan friends on this Friday!
I want to start this post off with an expression of gratitude: I have had such an awesome response from the fan community on the (several!) David-related posts I have shared, and I could not be more thankful. My personal fan experience has had such a strong impact on my life, and sharing that love for an artist with other fans means so, so much to me. So thank you so much for reading and for interacting with me. I hope I get to meet even more of you as we venture to more David events. (And I hope that you enjoy my future David posts, as well as my personal writing! :))
With all that being said, I am so excited to share this new idea with you. I don’t know about you all, but I am feeling so, so blessed that we are just TWO WEEKS away from a new album, Postcards in the Sky, from our favorite singer, and not much further away from seeing him perform this new music live on stage. It feels as though we are in an incredibly positive new era of being David Archuleta fans, and I believe this album is going to be his best yet.
It is this new album and the messages behind it that have inspired me to try and spread a little positivity, and to share that ArchuLove. So, allow me to introduce you to…
THE POSTCARDS PROJECT!
Yay!!! (Yes I could have used a David gif, but you gotta love Spongebob—David did!!)
This was a completely random idea that came to me just a couple days ago. Like so many, I am clinging to positivity as much as possible right now, and something that is feeling so incredibly positive to me is the upcoming release of David’s new music and the exciting events that are leading up to and will follow it. So I wanted to do something to spread that positivity, and to keep the love for our favorite artist alive in a community-focused project. Below, you will find all the details on just how we’re planning to do that.
Before the explanation, I have to send a huge shout out to Fans of David! They have been the most incredible supporters of David throughout all these years, and on a personal level, they have been some of the most kind, genuine, friendly people I have had the pleasure to meet and interact with. They were kind enough to help me out with the planning of this project, and they will continue to be involved in the promotion of these ideas, alongside their amazing events and happenings surrounding the new album, so stay tuned for their plans as well. Thank you, FOD, for all you do!!!
I am so excited to share this project with you. Let’s get to the explanations, including how you can get involved–because at its core, this project is all about you, the fans!

Here’s to David, and here’s to Postcards in the Sky!
(NOTE: Neither I nor this project is in any way affiliated with David or any members of his management team. This is simply a fan project looking to promote and encourage fan connection. If members of Team Archie happen to come across the project, well that’s just icing on the cake! ;))
